We are expanding and combining tanks we have a Tomato Clown and a Strawberry Pseudochromis that are in need of new homes we are transferring tanks tonight so the 2 fish will be separated tonight (we all know how hard these fish are to catch) so they wont be available to be picked up until tomorrow. Can send pics via pic messaging pm your phone number and ill send pics after we separate them tonight.

Got them in my tank. My blue damsels aren't being very nice to the Strawberry Pseudochromis but the Tomato Clown is kicking their butts if they trying anything with him. That Kenya tree you gave me isn't doing so good so I need to get some tests kits asap and see what the issue is. I saw that my salinity was down so I added some saltwater to it to see if that will bring it back to life. Hope their isn't something in my water that is going to really hurt it over the next few days as I don't have kits to test with yet.
The turbo snails are cleaning like crazy as well. Half of my front glass as been cleaned already!

The kenya trees don't like direct flow it will make them clench up but they are impossible to kill so I would give them a couple hours to acclimate to your tank and your lights but I wouldn't worry too much they are very resilient. Glad to here every thing else is doing good.

It is leaning off to the left... I move the korlia 4 up a little thinking that was the issue. I have it down on my sand bed. Is that to far away from my power compacts? O and the Clown has found a home under the return lol. I cant feed from back their so I hope he comes to the front of the tank. I forgot to ask do the fish eat pellets or do they like flakes?

they do alright with lower lights they were on the bottom of our tank too and they always have been just dont put them in direct flow and they will open up in a few hours when they get used to the water and the flow. I'm guessing they are grey and all pulled in and kind of slouching and they do that every night when we turn the lights off or if they have been messed with and when we do water changes. The clown will stay back there for a day or so then find a place he likes and he will definately come to the front for food he will probably just move up to the front where you feed after a few feedings hes a piggy. We feed our fish frozen brine shrimp so im not sure if they will go for pellets or flakes youll just have to try im sure they clown will eat anything he can.

does the Strawberry Pseudochromis like to hide? I havent seen it since I got it unstuck from my Korlina 4 before work yesterday which after I did that one of my damsels started attacking it again. I cant find it anywhere and fear it didnt make it. It added a lot of color to my grey looking tank. The snails are going to town like crazy. They'll have company here shortly as I ordered a 100 more on the reefcleaners order. Just wish I could find the Strawberry Pseudochromis again.

Yeah he hid in our rock work quite a bit but if you dont see him at all i would try looking for him just to make sure hes still there. But hopefully hes just found a place in the rocks that he likes. and he will come out soon. How are the kenya trees looking today? I also started the build thread. Im going to put the pics of the sump up in a few minutes.

kenya is still laying over to the left - towards the korlina 4. I've only had the light on for about 2 hrs now so maybe he is just getting warmed up still. Will check here in a few. I thought about moving it under one of my arches and see if that'd help with reduced water flow.

Yeah they dont like alot of flow and since we moved ours the other day they are just now starting to really open up, so i would just give them some time cuz ours stayed closed up for a while and our water cant get anymore perfect on the parameters right now they may be going through withdrawal of the dirtier water lol.

my water here is really hard so i have to use the RO Filter on it. I am just starting to wonder if maybe my filters need replaced again. I'm going to look into test kits here this afternoon maybe it is still in shock from the move. my water may be colder to. I have my temp at 78. what did you run yours?

yeah they really dont like direct flow and when you mess with them they will clentch up for a little while if they are out of the flow and they are standing up they should open up in an hour or so.

we dont put damsils in our tanks anymore, we lost too many fish that way. They are good starter fish but not so good when you want to start getting new fish. Send me a pic of the kenya trees again.
