Fregging Hair Algea (long)

    OK Reefers need some help. I am running a 90gal in the wall 40gal frag tank 40gal sump all tied in to one. My hair algea is out of control I am running AI leds 7hrs day light  55% power
    have a well with a water softner with a 75gal air water /ice ro. I am running a gfo 2little fishies in my make up tank. bulk reef carbon/gfo in my sump plus a 2/little fishies
    lots of gfo. I have talked to alot of people in the club and have gotten alot of help. I have taken the live rock out and scrubbed it. Bring on the the help before I shut it down

    Are your TDS readings 0? How much and what are you feeding them? Rinsing frozen foods? Nitrate/phos readings?

    What is your TDS reading? Food? What types and how much? Rinsing frozen foods? Nitrate/phos readings?

    Feeding some flake been starving things for 2 months but not harming nothing but not getting the growth I want doing. Doing water changes every two weeks. TDS 0
    phoshates reading 0 on the card scale I know that's not the best way for testing

    Algae scrubber. With the small amount you're feeding, you would only need a screen about 6" x 6" with a ~32W CFL on each side and about 200 GPH running over it, then when the HA is gone you can feed 3 cubes a day and everyone will be fat and happy. Seriously. Try it.
