I'm looking to buy or trade for a Frogspawn. I would prefer a bi-color, but others will work if they are nicely colored. I was going to limit LPS in my tank, but my clowns are looking for something to host so badly that they are rubbing on all of my SPS. I would buy one outright or trade if that's an option. I don't want to trade any SPS, but I would consider trading some of my Zoas and Palys.

    just a word of warning.

If clowns host it aggressively, it can kill it quickly.

That is true. My pair up at the building host green hairy shrooms they dont seem to mind as other corals do.

I agree. I've had that almost happen to a hammer. I moved the clowns to a friend's tank and saved the hammer. I've had two pairs choose to host a frogspawn over the anemone that I had for them though. My current tank is too small for me to comfortably place an anemone into it. Otherwise that would be my first choice.

I've decided that I might go with a small bubble tip and see how it goes. I've had plenty of small tanks with anemones, but I've never had so many SPS and high end zoas/palys to risk. I'm going to change my scape a bit and give the anemone it's own rock if I find one.

Unfortunately Waterloo is somewhere that I don't make it very often. I go to Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, and Davenport quite often though.

    Sully32,

If you're headed to Cedar Rapids any time soon I have bi-color frogspawn available for sale or trade. PM if interested.

    Thanks!

Eric, I have actually decided that I am going to go with a bubble tip instead.
