FS: Avast Marine CS1 Cone Skimmer w/Swabbie Self-Cleaning Head

I have an Avast Marine CS1 cone skimmer for sale.  I have used it for a week on my new frag tank and it skims like a champ!  It comes with the self-cleaning head (brand new, never used) as well.  I paid $325 for it but I will sell it for $250.  The skimmer is rated for 100-200 gallons but as you can see, it can skim even at 50 gallons! The best part is this skimmer is already put together so you won't have to like I did.

Hey Bill, the cup diameter is 6". It would work on cups with a neck diameter of 2.75"-4.25".

The only way I would sell it separate is if I had a buyer for the skimmer and swabbie; otherwise it is a package deal.

 

Price drop, $225! That's $100 less than new and the skimmer has only been used for a week. The swabbie is brand new!

 

Hi Jim, the lid comes off like all other lids. You can clean it when the cup gets full or you can use the cup drain to drain it into a larger container or skimmate locker. The skimmer runs great and it is quiet. You can come check it out if you like.
