Things are getting cramped in my tank and I've decided to sell my colony of Green Poccilapora - $35.   4 1/2 " x 6"

Thanks Dave.  That's my softie/LPS side of the tank.  The other side with my LPS is looking real good also!

I will admit, I had a pit of tank envy when I came over to purchase the coral frags. I loved the variety, color, and everything in the tank. It was really pretty!

P.S. the frags are going really well.

Thanks Pete.  I'm glad to hear that the frags are all doing well.  When you're ready for more, let me know.  I've also got frags now of the pink poccilapora, green poccilapora and green birdsnest.

What kind of lighting do you run? Anything special I'd need to take care of it? New to corals yet but love to get some in my tank. I have many softies right now.

It is one of the easiest SPS.  I run T5 lighting on my 75 gallon tank.  I've had it up high in the tank as well as on the bottom of the tank and it has grown well both places.  You need to have good water quality parameters - i.e. low nitrates (mine run from 5-10 and I have no problem), low phosphates, good calcium & alk parameters.

Ugh... I wish I had $35 now! Nitrates are 3. Phos is 2. Cal is high. Cant figure reading out right but I think it is 600ppm. I think my Alk is around 300ppm. That needs to come up yet. Trying to have cal and alk at the same level. Been dosing kalk the last couple of weeks.

Sounds like you are having water param problems, sorry to hear that.   What test kit(s) are you using? I wouldn't dose anymore Kalk.  What is your Magnesium level?  Have you tried just raising the Alk?  Sorry Jeanette; don't want to hijack your thread but ThyRaven appears to be having water param issues.

Welp... Good thing I didnt buy this guy. had Pet's Playhouse test my water. My alk is 650ppm and my cal is not readable becuz it is off the charts... umm oops. Kalk has been put away for a while. I use API test kits that I bought off of AJ. Need to get a Mag test as I dont know where that is sitting right now but guessing that is crazy high as I dropped my bag of epson salt into my ATO bucket...oops. So I'll hold off on this guy for a little bit but if he is still for sale when my water clears up, you bet I'll buy him!

Yes, it is a good thing you didn't buy it with the params. API kits aren't too bad but not of the quality like Salifert, Elos... Did they suggest that you start doing WC's? You don't want to drop it too fast but I'd suggest doing a 30% WC asap. Then do a 15% change about every week(5-7days) for 3 weeks. Then I'd check the params and go to your regular WC schedule. Others might have different suggestions...good luck! :=0)
