I got a morish idol the other day and my sailfin hates him. So I caught the sailfin and put him in my 40 frag tank. It's about 7 to 8 in verry fat and healthy. Asking $60 for him. Can post pics if anyone wants.

My god Bill, does that thing fit in your tank? I am going to be in the market for a couple tangs soon and that particular type is one i have my eye on, just was scared it would get to big for my tank.  Andy, you would basically dip it in boiling water to blanch em.

ahhh we have a culinary specialist among our ranks! lol Well cool good to know, I actually searched for that information after reading it in a CORAL magazine a year ago or so, and that kind of what I gathered, but nowhere did it express that explicitly. Bill I'll look to see if I can find that mag for more tips about the moorish, the author had had several specimens that he had kept for 12 years or more. What size and condition is that moorish in now? ahhhhhh zanclus cornutus my love affair continues. God I want one, but I've pledged not to attempt until I have at least a 300 gallon tank.
Yeah your sailfin is a hog man, you gotta appreciate fish that eat well. They may be fat and sassy, but they have to remind you of ourselves in many ways! My tangs, and esp my wrasse are fiendish, self indulgent, fat asses. Their hoarding antics are so funny, a real joy to watch fishes that just really enjoy eating!

Yea the sailfin is realy awesome and I hate to part with him. But on the other hand I want to give this morish the best chance possable. I read that the morish eat sponges so I ordered $100 worth today. That should hold him for a while :)
