I'm putting a feeler thread out to see if there'd be interest in my livestock for my 90g tank. Vet school is using up all my time, and I'm not doing justice to the tank. Thinking of tearing it down, storing the equipment, and selling the live bits. If this were to happen, I would sell the following all in one batch for $400, or at the individual prices, OBO. If sold individually, all would have to be claimed before I could part them out.

100# of live rock give or take- all matured for 2 years, with moderate to heavy coraline growth. About 3 rocks are coated in green star polyp - $3/lb

Corals (not counting the star polyp) = some sort of brain on a stalk, red mushrooms, purple mushrooms, three various leathers - $30

2 oscelaris clown fish - a pair but never have spawned - $30

    Coral beauty - $20

    Yellow Tang - $30

    6-line wrasse - $10

Miscelaneous clean up crew, including an emerald crab and various hermits and snails - $10

I'll try to attach a video showing the fish. It's about 4 months old, so please excuse the bits of algae that are present. And I no longer have the scooter dragonette.

If everything gets claimed, I'll go ahead with the plan and tear the tank down at the end of May (anytime after the 21st). I'll keep an eye on this thread and private messages so feel free to use either. If on the offchance there is a huge response, first come first serve based on time stamps of posts/private messages.

    Thanks everyone,

    Kylie

Forgot to mention there's 2-3" of live sand along the bottom of the tank also

Coral, tang, and wrasse have been claimed. So I will for sure be tearing down the tank. Feel free to let me know if you are interested. Can't distribute everything until at least a majority of the rock is taken in order to catch the fish without harming anyone. And if everything is claimed in time, the soonest I could tear it down is the first weekend of May. Thanks for understanding.

    Hello again

All but the clowns, rock, and sand have been claimed. Reducing rock down to asking price of $2/lb or $200 for whomever wants to come take all of it and the sand. That's a lot lower than the standard store price peeps! /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

The clowns are very nice pair too. They know to host in an anemone and prefer it, but are currently anemone-less (which they don't appreciate). The female is a misbar but little male has a solid center bar. They have done the "sex dance" in the past but I probably just didn't have the proper tank conditions to induce full spawning. $20 for the pair to a good home.

    Thanks!
