FS...Mag 24 and MRC-MR1 skimmer

    i have decided i dont like the external skimmer and pump setup as much as i would of.  taking up more space than would like and need more for a frag tank setup.  so im selling my setup to buy a new insump skimmer.  looking for 75 each. 
    The MR1 had a little leak around the becket housing that i siliconed up, will prolly need it done again after moving, but it might not.
    mag 24 is noisy.  it might need a new impellar i'm not sure i didn't take it apart when i bought it to check....thats my fault.
    i purchased both of them used.  will have pics up later today.

    Any pictures yet? What size pump does the skimmer require?

    That particular skimmer *requires* at least 1200 GPH according to the specs, but that's just the minimum.

    Hmmmm so I would need another return sized pump. I don't think I have room. I have been playing with the idea of adding a second skimmer after the whole fallfest info we got.

    You know, you could always put a big return pump on and run the skimmer and return to your tank...

    Already running a 1200 gph return pump feeding tank, skimmer and reactors. And then a mag 5 for the frag tank

    So upgrade to something like a Reeflo Dart to run them all!!
