They are in good shape about 4 months of use on them, they have good quality bulbs on them, not the stock ones.

Also forgot to post that tunze pumps come with tunze magnet holders, these magnets alone are worth $150 new for both of them.

here is the picture of the sump by the builder, my sump is a larger version of this custom built by reef creations, 60 long x 30 deep x 24 tall. It is in excellent shape it has no scratches, looks better than some display tanks I see...

What bulbs would you put in the VHO fixture? Do the current bulbs have any life left in them? Looking at new lighting for my tank so I can start corals but can't afford LEDs yet so looking for something better and cheaper than replacing my PC bulbs.

You put VHO bulbs in this fixture, this is not a fixture really, it is a retrofit.. you have to screw them into your canopy. They are 6 feet long each. They still have life in them but they are actinics, so I used them more for supplementing my main light, not for main lighting, they would not be enough light by themselves but would complement any existing light options very well. They give great color pop on corols.
