ive been doing a little research and have come up with some conflicting results and thought someone here could help and share there thoughts. Brs says pellets or hc (high capacity) is better   and this site says different  http://www.gettankedaquariums.com/i...age....htm
heres the quote "For those of you that are using pelletized
    ferric oxide iron based
media, here is a fact straight from the source. Pelletized
    Ferric Oxide
iron based media is inadequate for all saltwater aquariums,
    freshwater
aquarium and pond usage. Not to say it does not work, but,
    Granular
Ferric Oxide Media is over 10 times more efficient then
    Pelletized
    Ferric Oxide Media."

Interesting contradiction....I've only used the granular form so cannot comment on pelletized...and given it works well for me I probably won't switch anytime soon!

I use the granulated stuff from BRS with good results.
