I love their starphire glass... Edges line up and silicone is clean. Overall a good tank for the price.

 

Ordered a 15 tall for them, excellent quality glass thickness, but when I set the aquarium on level surface it did not sit squarly with the floor: it wobbled on three corners...... So I had it on styrofoam.. Never had any problems, I just feel like it's sketchy when an aquarium doesn't sit squarly on flat, level ground

 

From what I have read over the years they were mostly known for turtle/snake tanks.

 

bought one a couple years ago and here are my thoughts.

Ordered a rimless tank 30x30x18 along with a stand. the stand I wanted 36x36 just for the extra room. first thing I noticed was they used way to thick of glass on this tank, 5/8 so since i didnt order starphire the glass had a green tint. they also only put silicone between the panes and nothing in the seams so that made me nervous.

the next thing i didnt care for is the tanks only come with a 90day warranty but during that 90days you are instructed not to fill the tank with water for 30 days to let the silicone cure. the over flow box is very large and made of glass and all along the bottom edge of the tank is a 2 inch pane of glass.

Now on to the stand. first thing I noticed was the trim pieces are not mitered and the front edge sticks out almost an inch on each side. Now remember i ordered this stand larger then the tank, the holes in the top of the stand for my over flow and return were not even close to being centered. when I called them about this I got the response that of course they are the stand is bigger then the tank what did you expect. I guess I expected them the put the tank on the stand and put the holes where they needed to go.

Over all I would say they have very poor standards on just about everything and would not advise anyone to order from them. A quick search will also show they have a score of F with the BBB.
