I have a new project. The stand I built last summer is going to get a face lift. I originally build it with 2x4, 2x6 construction wrapped with AC plywood, used a torch and bleach stain and trimmed in smooth finished cedar. I'm going to eliminate a side door, make the front doors smaller, stone the face and wrap in rough texture cedar. A few photos to start. Hope it turns out as nice as on paper...

I'm not sure if anyone cares about a stand build... But here is an update. Stone face and trim is finished. Time for a top ledge and doors. Still up in the air on doors. Do I want to go full wood doors or go wood frame with smoke/etched glass?
