Support your local fish stores or they won't be around when you need them!

    +1 to Liveaquaria.com. I also really like vividaquariums.com.

    Where are you located?

Bluzooaquatics.com is pretty good but liveaquaria.com is better. reeftopia.com is the place to go for clean up crews. I've never ordered from them but I've heard nyaquatics.com is good. Yes I do order some livestock online but I also buy a lot from LFS (SEASCAPES) cause we need our LFS. sooner or later some piece of equipment will break and you will need to replace it ASAP so you will need to buy it at your LFS

I agree if you have to buy livestock Seascapes is the best in DSM cost wise unless you are brave and want to chance Petco. Adams is always terribly overpriced IMHO. Equipment wise the LFS is prolly the worst place to go if you want to save money. I think after a couple trips you will almost find it cost effective to buy 2 of whatever you need online in case 1 fails.

I highly disagree with crazy on this, Sure you will save some money ordering equipment online but when you have an issue your lfs is not going to help you. also many times after you consider shipping the cost is almost the same.

fragglereef.com has decent prices and great costumer service. As a rule of thumb, I try and buy coral, fish and things like shrimp, snails from my LFS or from a fellow reefer. Dealing with shipping livestock is nerve wracking; you just never know and I prefer to leave that nightmare up to professionals, if I can /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif Never hurts to at least ask/look around locally for what you're seeking. You can save the creatures you're after all the stress of yet another shipping too.

Ok so im going to throw my 2 cents in here liveaquaria is good but lately seems to be "out of stock" on everything or at least all the really pretty stuff. So my votes go +1 to vividaquariums, and another i didnt see listed is frag-a-lot. As far as local fish store in Washburn there is a store called Anemone, Clowns and Corals. They have TONS of frags in there and if you guys ever get the chance to make a trip over there its well worth the trip. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif
