    We received an awesome shipment of livestock today from Quality Marine.
    We added some pictures to our face book page (search Anemones, Clowns, & Corals)
    Some awesome Elegance corals
    Various Zoas
    Various Acans
    A cool pink & yellow cucumber
    Orange & Maroon Linkias
    Abalones
    Turnicates
    Orchid Pseud
    Awesome purple flower pots
    Helfrichi Firefish
    Many more!

    At this point I may have to drop out of school and just go get a regular job to keep up with my reef habit. LOL

    No they hadnt opened up last night when my wife was taking pics, I will see if they did tonight.

    What does the cucumber do? Are they bad for the tank if something happens to them...say terminal? Kinda neat looking.

    This guy is incredible.

    They need to be target fed like a feather duster or coco worm.

    They do have a toxin that can be harmfull if it gets caught in a pump or power head.

    For the most part they are a bottom dweller.

    Sea apples and cuc's are from the same class of Holothuroidea.  Cuc's release a toxin called holothurin as a defense mechanism.  When they die, this toxin is relased into the tank so a dead cuc should be removed immediately so as not to foul the tank.  Cuc's are scavengers, feeding on plankton, detritus and organic matter.....  Nice looking cuc, Craig![​IMG]
