I have a grounding probe in my tank. They are cheap enough ($10 to $15) that if there's a chance that it will help, it's a cheap insurance policy. I don't use a particular brand...I just bought a cheap titanium grounding probe from some guy on RC.
Follow up question...for those that use them, do you use them in your sump and display or just one or the other?  I only have one in my sump as I have no submersed electrical devices in my display tank.

I have hear mixed things about this. The down side from what i have been told is that it completes a circuit. This could be worse then stray voltage i would think.
