Here's the finished product. I added the cheek rest and the holo sight today. I decided to put my bushnell on it and will put the one that is on it's way on the ak. I have some OD rail covers on the way to and will swap them out for the black ones.

 

Picked up a norinco sks the other day for a awesome deal. I got the gun and 300 rounds of ammo for $300 and the gun is in awesome shape. I ordered one of tapco's timbersmith thumb hole stocks for it and it will be here next week. I also ordered some other parts. I'll take some pics as I put it together and post. Anyone else get any new toys?

Just put the stock and bipod on it today. I plan to put a muzzle brake on it and also a TS200 rear peep sight.

 

That's a wild stock! I've always liked thumb hole stocks. I found an awesome deal on a Springfield .40 and am picking it up on monday

 

Yea tapco is making wood stocks now for sks and ak47. The thumbhole is a little pricey $199 but sence i got such a sweet deal on the gun to begin with it wasn't to bad. You'll like the man I love my M.
