Well I have had one of the new 200 series Gyres in my tank. I am loving it so far.. The controller is not easy to figure out initially but tonight I really played with it a lot.

First it lets you do a positive and a negative number setting. I believe it makes the impellers change directions. I set it to negative 100 percent nd all kinds of stuff started coming up.. Very interesting.

I did order another pump to add to the controller so we will see how that goes. But so far really liking these pumps.

Just added a second Gyre 250 to the controller. Very nice that you can have two on the same controller now. Made it alot cheaper to add the second one. Love the flow so far. JUst plugged it in and it is running at 50%.. Need to setup the timer with what I want but so far really liking these pumps.

The biggest complaint that there was for the old ones was toughness. Also snails could get in. They send snail guard things along and I also ordered the foam protectors. They are very easy to take apart and clean. They also include an extra set of rotors and ceramic shafts.

I just broke down my 250 for cleaning after a few months. Had a little bit of trouble getting the last black piece out so I could pull the magnet otherwise very easy

I've been considering the dual controller and another GYRE. I have one gyre and it does good now that I upgraded to the HD impellers. I broke several of the original impellers and was about to call it quits on the things when they came out with the HD ones.
My tank is really lacking flow right now 2 of my 3 vortech drivers went out awhile ago.

I went with 4 Neptune wav for my new build. They are super quiet and you can plug 3 into the module so you are not utilizing more outlets .

Those sound nice I may have to stop by and check them out. One power cord for two pumps on the 250. I think they have a bigger controller that can do 4 as well

Stop by any time. I have 3 of them hooked up on my current tank to try them out. I do have a 4th one not hooked up currently. You can only hook 3up to the Ilink but I also bought the new apex as well which has ports as well to hook up to. I also have a gyre 150 too. I think I will have plenty of flow.

Are you able to do a video to demonstrate flow? I'd be interested to see different combinations:)

I can try.. My video recording skills are not very good. Anyone have a suggestion for a decent camera that can record a tank with crazy lights?
