Had fun advertising GIRS on Sunday

I took a chance and wore my GIRS T-shirt from Spring Fest as my uniform to work Sunday. Normally we are suppose to wear tan pants with the safari shirt and name tag. Got to work and the guys loved it so I get to wear my GIRS shirt every time I work the fish department. So, if we happen to have any variations of the same shirt, I would love to order a couple extra for when I work more often than once a week. Mine is the simple black with embroidered logo on front left with website across the back.

I think we might have an extra MACNA Des Moines shirt sitting around somewhere. I don't know if it's accounted for or not.

My boss can be kinda strict on uniform, but.. i will just wear it when he's not there!

It's really cool that they allow (and encourage by the sound of it) you to wear the GIRS shirt. Boy I wish Petland didn't go belly up ins DSM /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/sad.gif

 

Yeah, I heard a lot of people were upset when they went under. We got almost all of the animals they didn't have adopted at the time and it was a little hectic for a while.
