    When you are 35 minutes away from the hardware store, and you need a really odd fitting ( 1 1/4 bushing to 3/4 threaded), and you rummage through your assorted boxes of pcv and find one!

    Omg, yes that random box of assorted crap sitting in the corner of your room with just that right fitting at the bottom of it. #priceless.

    I have 3 of those boxes sitting around. But has saved me multiple times. Lol

    When I buy plumbing I always buy extra fittings.
    I'm starting to have a decent collection of random fittings and valves.

    You never know when you need that extra part from a plumbing (or Ikea) project. I save all that stuff. Problem is trying to find it when you need it.

    Just found a spare impeller for an MJ1200 in a coffee can with toggle bolts. Who needs lottery scratch tickets?
