Harliquin Shrimp??

most shrimp dissapear until they feel comfortable with there new enviroment and some only come out at night

 

I have a pistol shrimp that disappeared for months at a time... then one day he came out. now i was the only one who saw him at the time... so my son told me he was a figment of my imagination. rofl... now the only time i see him is when he sticks his antennae out... ;-0

 

ive had my harliquin for about 3 months now. when i first got it i seen it the first couple days then disappeared for almost 4 weeks. thought i lost it. then one night i saw it standing at my sand sifting starfish, had to save the sand sifter of course but now i see it almost every day with the lights out.

 

I am not brave enough to keep them due to their diet.

It is highly reccomended that you keep them in pairs though.... any way you could pick up a mate for it?
