I am planning on doing a DIY LED build soon. I have come across these guys several times and the solderless system seems very tempting. I priced out the system I would like to have and the price was almost $700. My question is more so has anyone purchased from them in the past? If so what was the experience like? Almost temped to just get a pair of AI's at this price.

Yea I bought a biocube diy kit with the solder-less connectors from them awhile back. They work ok, I have since thrown them all way and just soldered the leds.. I personally like the inventronics driver they sell over the more common meanwell driver that everyone uses. I agree they are very helpful and nice people, but their shipping takes along time..

Why did you scrap the solderless? What about the inventronics driver do you prefer over meanwell?

The solderless connectors didn't always connect and it was a pain in the ***. The inventronic drivers I like cause of the easy dimming abilities.

what size of tank ty? if you watch the deals you can normally pickup a pair of ai sol blues used for $600 and you will have alot better dimming options

It's a 90 gallon. I almost pulled the trigger on MThomp's pair but did not. Now I'm kicking myself for not dropping the $500. What I see out there now for used ones people want $700. I am looking though.

yah forget the solderless I did 185 LED's that I soldered all of! PITA but better than the alternative, more cost effective, and better connections imo
