Came home yesterday and noticed there wasn't much circulation in the tank- the fan stopped spinning. I pulled it out and immediately noticed it was warm to the touch and smelled like burning electrical motor.

Took some photos- one particular thing I noticed is there's a crack on the back housing I hadn't previously noticed. Also, looks like some of the plastic melted?

Is it trash or are these things salvageable?
