    What kind of heater does everyone like? Looking for a cheap one for salt mix bucket if anyone wants to unload one

    Ive had the best luck switching to jagers due to alot of recommendations but even they arent 100% reliable. Frankly i think theyre all junk just gotta find the best you can and throw em on a controller. If your just using one for mixing salt any brand will really do.

    +1 on a controller.

    This is exactly what I would say as well. All heaters intended for livestock, throw on a controller. Otherwise, for mixing stations any brand will do. I've had far too many heater incidents to not use a controller! Either do it through a controller unit like an apex, or get a separate neostat unit to put the heater into.
