    I used to have a few fish tanks about 15 years ago.  Both freshwater and saltwater, but never a reef tank.  Got bitten by the bug again when my daughter wanted to get some goldfish.  I've bought a 55g long tank and I'm slowly getting back into the hobby as my budget allows.  My goal is to have a reef tank up and running by next year, but for right now I'm just going to set it up as a freshwater tank.

    Welcome! Where are you located?
    I found this site and got bit hard by the reef bug a few years ago. Great info and great people. Don't even mess with setting it up for freshwater. Just go strait to the salt! /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

    I'm in Urbandale.

    I'd love to be able to go straight to salt, but I just don't have the money to set anything up right now. I'm definitely saving my pennies though. Hopefully soon.
