I'm bored and I'd love to get to know everyone better, so, how's it going? Hows the tank? What size do you have, what's in it? What is your prize fish or coral? Any pictures? Get any new goodies recently?
I'm Kylie and I have a new 40g breeder reef with fish. I have two clowns, Cora and Bennie, and a midas blenny named King. They live with a cleaner shrimp, Dante, and a peppermint, Athena. I have a small reef going including a few caps, xenia, kenya, toadstool, duncan, green slimer, montipora something, green and pink birdsnest, two trumpets, and a few mushrooms. My prize fish are all my babies. I absolutely love them like a mommy. I can't wait till I can add a scooter blenny to the bunch and have been keeping an eye on the glass and over the past few days there has been a dramatic increse in the number of pods crawling around! YAY!
    So, what's up? : )

Hi Kylie, im mike and im a reefaholic. My tank has been up just 3 months now and now that it has gotten a little age and has become more stable, im starting to see the fruits of my labor. I run a 55gal sumpless tank and im in the planning stages for my next tank now.

as far as livestock goes, my fish is a tribal blenny and my misbar maroon clown. added a sixline recently but havent seen him since i put him in the tank a week ago.
they share a tank with 2 skunk cleaners and some misc crabs and snails. My corals consist of 4 heads of candycane. 2 heads frogspawn, 1hammer. 12heads of acan lord. and some misc zoas.

    I am Craig & I too am a reefaholic.

I have about 1000 gallons of saltwater in my fishroom consisting of an SPS system & a seperate LPS system. Attatched to the SPS system is my RBTA farm.

My prize corals would be elegance & setosa. My favorite fish are my two flame back angelfish that I am trying to pair up.

Nice to officially meet you (on the internet haha) Mike and Craig. I am really jealous of your hammer mike. That or a clam will be my next addition probably. How do you run an RBTA farm craig? You must be one hell of a reefer since you can have enough splitting to have a farm of RBTA's : )

Hoping to get a 90g+ going here within the next couple months, but holding off due to the fact I might be moving :/

    Hello,
I'm Tony.  Biology teacher at Marion High school.  I have 2 saltwater tanks at school both 40 gallon.  Also 6 freshwater tanks at school.  At home I have a 125 gallon packed with coral plus a 29 gallon biocube.  The 125 has been up for 7 years and the school tanks have been up for 3 years.  It is an addictive hobby that u seem to learn new things all the time.

Thats really neat about the school tanks. I wish my school had had any sort of animals. But then again, a lot of students at my school were rude, immature and ruined things just to make people sad so I'm sure they would have hurt it somehow.

Charles, you wouldn't happen to know how to stop programs from randomly not responding would you? I'm a few days from sending this laptop on to its new owner and the only problem I've ever had was every so often either Microsoft Word or Internet explorer will stop responding and I have to ctrl, alt, delete and close the program. If its a simple fix, I would love to either do that before I send it away or tell him how to do it if he'd like.

I'm Jordan. Got a ~200 gallon system consisting og a 90 mixed reef in the living room, and connected to that in the basement are a 20 tall fuge, 20 long frag tank, 30 gallon sump, and a 37 hex that I'm planning on turning into a rbta tank with a future pair of picassos. I'd say my favorite inhabitants are my saddleback clown pair (one black and one brown) and their 14" LTA.

    I'm Mike,
I've been in the hobby for 5+ years, here and in San Diego. I currently have a 60 gal mixed reef and Im just waiting to set up my 180 gallon tank which is being stored in the garage for the time being. As for corals Ive got a few different types of candy canes, a few leathers, some mushrooms, gsp, zoas, polyps, caps, green and pink birdsnests, green slimer, and a couple sps that i cant remember the name of. Fish wise, id have to say im pretty fond of my blue hippo tang. My fiance and I found her (and saved her) no more than the size of a nickel at Petco, and she has grown quite a bit since. I've enjoyed reading about a few of you and look forward to meeting many more.

Ugh. I cant wait until i have my own house or an apartment on the bottom floor where i can do whatever i want without worrying about weight or moving. That is going to be so nice. And by then i will have more experience so i can completely take advantage of that freedom

Kylie: Well I live in a two story townhouse but as of right now, the only place where i would have enough room for a 6 x 2 x 2 tank would be upstairs in the bedroom, the floor squeaks when its walked on so i dont feel very comfortable putting that heavy of a tank on it. As far as how heavy can it hold... I have no idea but I wouldnt want to risk it. I just hope to move to a house soon so I dont have that problem /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/shocked.gif)
