I'd pull that anemone out immediately - putting it in your sump is a good idea, or a bucket if someone is coming to get it soon. If no one can take it asap, I'm sure a LFS would take it off your hands.

IowaJeeping is taking it off of my hands tomorrow. I did get the anemone out of the tank and down to the sump as soon as I could but the anemone got the stingray pretty good, the stingray did get away by himself, but not sure if he is going to make it.

Never even thought about that, but it would make sense the carpet nem would sting the hell out of anything it touches. Hope your stingray makes it.

So sorry this happen. Do you remember me asking if it has taken any of you fish yet? I know these to be very aggressive and will sting just about any thing it wants. I hope your stingray will be OK and can't wait to see them.
Great looking set up by the way.

Wow, really sorry to hear that rookie. I keep thinking about nems, but I hear too many bad stories. Sure hope the stingray recovers.
