Johnny, It's actually not in the basement. It's at ground level (I saw it last night) so it should be easier than you expect since there wouldn;t be a flight of stairs to bring it up. Dave said it was crazy heavy though; something like 400lbs empty I think? Anyway, I could help after 6 on a weekend (I wouldn't arrive there much sooner than 8). I suggest getting a hold of some of those glass suction cup handles that are often used to carry large panes of glass; I think that would be very helpful. What do you plan to load it into, a uhaul?

I would be willing to help move it and I have a ram 1500. I can make most nights work or the weekend.

The road to his house from the interstate is pretty bumpy too. Count on a slow 1 mile drive and you probably want to pad the heck out of the bottom. I don't know if I can help depends on the time/day but as you know I have Matt's suction cups.

This saturday would work fine (we aren't going to be getting any carpet in this week as hoped for) and I will be here to help load it too. Bela is right - it is on the main floor so that makes it a lot easier. My son and I carried it into the house but it about killed us so the suction cups and a couple of extra hands would be great. Just le me know what works....thanks!

I would help but I have to work this weekend so I am only available from 1-5pm. you might want to call two men and a truck and see what they would charge to move it. there moving my 300 glass tank into the basement tomorrow afternoon

I just sent an e-mail to the Doc about getting those professional suction cups. If he can't get them by the weekend you can use mine and Matt's.
