help with fraging

    Ok so I have a duncan I bought off another fellow GIRS member yesterday and has about 12-15 heads on it and I would like to frag it so I can have more placed in my tank. I dont have any tools or even know how to do fraging!! I would love someone teach me how to do some fraging and I can pay you for your time. Plz someone who has done these coral b4 help me

    Just snap a head off and superglue it to either a frag plug or a rock. It's a hardy coral and grows pretty quickly!!

    kinda like breaking up a head of broccoli.
    might need some needle nose pliers or wire cutters tho.
    can b hard to snap sometimes

    I would use bone cutters as you will get a much cleaner cut and injure the mother colony less. Cut it close to the trunk/stalk of the mother colony. I wouldn't personally frag a large amount of heads all at once as the mother colony is in a state of stress right now by going into a different tank, etc.

    I am going to wait a few weeks b4 doing anything still nervous just cutting it lol
