I have myself a hitch hicker some sort of sea slug it hides in a hole all day and only sticks part of it's body out at night to graze on algae I managed to get a pic

sorry for the fuzzy pic it's the best I have been able to get so far. I had to take it with the lights out with the flash because if you flip the light on this thing sucks back into it's hole super fast.
Any ideas on what exactly this guy is?
    Thanks

Those are cool i'll sift through the site and see what I find. Can they be toxic when they die like a sea cucumber?

Post another pic will ya, I'm kinda likin the nudi's...

hey rockinsmalll, is their diet on sps/corals really that massive they're hard to keep?
I think that was the main thing I've seen, is they eat so much of a particular thing, and most don't have em, so they die/wipeout the tank....

its true, they do eat very specific things.

the first one pictured eats leathers... so i feed it frags of crown leather.

the next one seems to eat algae or something, i dont know. it just showed up on day on the glass at half an inch long. My local club members said to throw it out b/c it could be predetory... so, i kept it right in my main tank! it has doubled in size and ive never once seen it on a coral, always on the rock or on the glass. this is my favorite.

The last one hangs out in the sand, and i nearly never see it, i dont know what it eats. it has not grown from what i can tell.

I am excited for my new addition from fishbrain! i am gunna set up a lil 8 gallon biocube for my new little critter and the leather eater!

sooo.... who has an 8g cube for sale???

It is preaty cool but I don't want to run the risk of it dieing and leaching out toxins. It actualy has little claws that point backwards on it's back verry weird. I'll get it shiped out tomorrow.
    enjoy

are the colored circular spots on its back plated? Also if so are there 8 of them? It may end up being a chiton. I have seen some pretty interesting ones.

    Just my two cents

Man you hit the nail on the head on this one! Because that's exactly what it is.
It's the one in the 5th pic.
