Does anyone else really look at all the hitchikers on store bought corals. Was at a Dsm shop the other day and noticed a great coral (dead) frag with zoas all over it.Looked really nice till I saw all the sundial snails inside the stems of coral. Seems like always something rides home on frags.Bristleworms, crabs, snails, algae, I once got zoa pox from a local shop before I knew what to look for. That was fun curing that mess. Guess you should always look real close at any new corals before buying . :)  better safe than sorry........oh and yes I dip everything.Still doesn't kill all the badies.

got an emerald crab on my pulsing Xenia... paid for him because I wanted another but he rode home in the bag on the rock.

I think I got a tiger pistol shrimp in one too, either that or he was really quiet for a while after hitching on my live rock.

I have decided to start throwing the nusience critters (that won't hurt fish) in the quarantine tank just for kicks...
