Hobbiest frag swap plus a couple surprises

    Jt fragging might be joining the show to sell. Also a couple others. Let me know everyone is welcome to sell trade ect or just come. But I do need to know if you want a table /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif I want to let everyone know this is not a girs sponsored event this is strictly my doing. I came up with the idea and I am putting it together... Also having a little help when we get closer from some volunteers /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif. But I contacted the commercial people to donate and not once did I say this was a girs event. I am doing this not only for everyone to have another opportunity to get some great corals but for a great cause Paws and Effect is a great organization that supports my brothers and sisters that fought beside me in iraq and Afghanistan if you served you understand always keep an eye on your battle buddy. This is my way of still watching my buddies back by doing this i hope to raise money to support a great cause /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif I hope you all can join us there will also be some of the service dogs in training there and i might get one of the vets to come to that has a dog so you can see what these dogs do for them.

    Donny - I wanted to let you know that the Board has talked and we think that the hobbiest frag swap is a good idea. It the past we have thought about and discussed possibily having only one major Fest in a year - and then having another fest that is less labor intensive and more casual - kind of exactly what you are scheduling. But in the end, we've ended up going the route of two major fests. So we are very happy to see you/someone organizing this! Good luck with the event. We hope that it is very successful!!!!!

    Thanks for posting the Boards' thoughts and support Madam President. I sure hope the Club continues to have 2 Fests every year!! There are so many hobbyists around the State that look forward to it being near their homes :0) It also provides Members and other hobbyists a second opportunity to attend if they cannot make it to the first Fest of each year. I can think of other reasons too... Anyway, I personally wanted to thank the BOD for the support!

    I really appreciate the support from everyone and i definitely want girs to still have 2 major fests because each one is a little different plus i can find stuff that i may not have seen at the first /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif. I would however like to see a hobbiest and maybe local commercial vendors show that I honestly would be willing to host each year of course it would not be to close to spring or fall fests. But I really think this could be something great for everyone plus it just gives us all another opportunity to get together as a club /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

    Donny hope I could make it will see. My sons sports is getting in the way of my Reefing. lol Its a good thing maybe it keeps me from spending too much.

    Ok sorry it took so long to confirm ArmyDog.... had to figure out some crucial date rearranging! lol. But I will be there as a seller! I will not have any frags though, just whatever fish are left over from me breaking down my breeding operation and any/all equipment I need to get rid of!

    There's a lot though, so we'll see how much I can sell before I get there so that it's reasonable. lol. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/wink.gif

    That is great news.

    So far 10 tables of sellers hopefully we can get that number up as I have had several people from my Facebook posts on the various groups I'm apart of that are planning on coming to the show /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif hopefully with this we can get the numerous saltwater reef people that are in the Des Moines area to join the club also as there are a lot that has never even heard of girs until I said something to them about it then the Des Moines area will have more members

    That is awesome thankyou can't wait for this event already prepping the building and cleaning up ect. For people that want to setup the night before just get in contact with me we will have a 1200sq ft area that will be used in the show for setup just need to know ahead of time so I can be at the building.

    Also I think we should call this event Frag Farmers Market of the B.A.S. what do y'all think /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/wink.gif
