So I was poking around on reefbuilders or similar and saw that Davey Jones Skimmate locker. (which would have solved my question about my overflowing skimmer)
So I went to Avast to investigate and learned they sell magnets for probe holders / frag racks (also another question)
And they sell foam reactor disks. (another question) and probe holders (yet another question), and cut to fit acrylic tubes, and pre-milled bases, and media plates. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME! I guess I am building my ozone reactor now.
Anyway, Avast Marine looks pretty cool.

Cool is right! I found tons of stuff that I didn't know I even needed! You can build anything!

I actually watched the video how to build one of the media reactors this morning and been e-mailing them about getting a custom swabbie for my skimmer.

I'm pretty sure they're new on the scene. They used to be grayseasaqatics (GSA) I believe

Flyingmoray(Joe) has one and he loves it. We actually met the guy down at MACNA and talked to him a little bit. Seems like a pretty smart guy.

I got an email back from them last night. Seems they will do some custom drilling, cutting, etc. They sent me PDF's where I can mark my holes. I'm getting very excited. I have just started working with acrylic. I made a lid for my 50 gallon rubbermaid, and two lids for my sump. Also started doing custom cutouts. I made a effluent hose holder, for my carbon, gfo, auto top off water, and calcium reactor effluent. I am pretty sure I can copy the Precision Marine ozone reactor for about 1/3 of the cost. (+ labor)

This hobby is so addiciting. Honestly, I think I am more into the equipment and maintenance side of things. I spend 90% of my time tweaking my fish room.

+1 on the tweaking and always having a project going on.  Now if I could just convince my wife that this is progress! lol

My gf always gives me hell about the condition of my display tank. Truth be told, I don't really care about my display tank. It has gone to hell in the last six months. But my fishroom is a different story. That room is tight. I bet I have used thousands of zipties in the last few months to get stuff up and out of the way. Sometimes I just sit downstairs in that room and watch all my reactors bubble and what not. Very relaxing.

Dose it increase your skimmate my much? Also how often do you have to pull it off and clean it?

From what I have read, it increases the efficiency of your skimmer. Therefore, you should be getting more skimmate when there isn't a buildup around the neck. Most people seem to only clean it about once a month so that does cut back on the maintenance quite a bit.
