Two days ago my foxface did not come out to eat which is very odd seeing as this fish is always the first hog to the troff. Yesterday he looked like he had fin rot and some raised spots on his side. I put him in the QT and started Maracyn. No other fish seems to be sick & I have not added anything to the tank for a month or so. He is the first fish I got when I got into SW and I have had him for 8 yrs. So I was just wondering if he is just getting old. Water quality is spot on, so I don't know what would be making him sick.

They can live a long time :0) It may be getting to its end but not necessarily either. They live about 20 years or so I believe. Try to feed it some garlic. Hopefully the Maracyn will help and keep a keen eye on it. Good luck!
