I broke the air tube connector off of the venturi for my Sedra 9000.  Unfortunately, it's glued into the pump so replacement would get complicated.  Has anyone fixed an issue like this?  Would it be better for me to try to glue it back on or put in some kind of a replacement connector?  Open to any and all suggestions.  Thanks in advance.

Is it just the nipple that sticks out from the intake on the pump? If so, just cut it clean and re-drill a whole. Find a piece of plastic that size and install it with some weld-on.

Yeah, that's it..just the part that the airtube attaches to. Good suggestion. I'm sure that would be a much more durable repair than just gluing it back on. Now I just need to find some tubing that will be the right size. Thanks for the suggestion Adam.

Stop breaking stuff. Your just trying to avoid getting this tank done aren't you AJ?

I'm actually going to start cycling the tank without the skimmer, so this won't hold me up. I still need to mesh mod it on the 20th.

Do you have a dremel? I would just get a replacement part (either stock or something like it), dremel out the glued in piece (obviously be careful not to dremel more than what you actually want out). Shouldn't be a hard fix.

Yeah...I have a dremel. It's probably my favorite tool...I use it all the time! Yeah, that's another good suggestion. Thanks Bela.
