if you get a couple lengths of wood corner trim and use it to cover both corners, easy 8 dollar fix

Thats a good idea! Get some trim that matches your stand and canopy then a little silicone and it would deffinatly hold and probaly look preaty sweet to.

$180 for low iron, $105 for regular. Takes about a week or so.

Wow man that sucks, it is def a gamble, it may hold for years and may not.

Craig are you serious about not worrying?? Sure the silicone will hold but what happens when the chip turns into a giant crack and the whole front blows out?

See all of this little cracks in the second pic? Those little suckers are what worry me. I guess after you have a had 9 foot of water in your basement 90 gallons isnt anything to worry about.

Thats why I said put it in the garage with a wavemaker on it for a week.

On my old 125 that was 3/8 thick. I had to take a sledgehammer to it to break it up. I am not talking about a little tap either. I had to hit is about 8 times to get the first break in it. I wish I would have taped it, I couldnt believe how strong it was.

If that face was tempered, it'd look like a spider web after a hit like that! Get the cheap glass if you really want to replace it.

    Hey Aaron-
Sorry to hear this but I just saw the thread - man that sucks!
It'll work out - either with this tank or a replacemet.  I wouldn't be comfortable replacing the glass for fear of a blow-out and from what I've read all of the silicone needs to be removed and replaced as old silicone won't properly bond with new.
I can't really tell by the pics, but it appears the crack is actually into the seam?  I had a 75 that I chipped that I never worried about, and would have eventually covered it with wood trim as stated.  My chip was on the outside of the corner and didn't affect the structural integrity (in my mind).
    Let us know what happens!
