I'm pretty sure I know exactly which store is in question... But not to black label them as they've always been amazing!! I got a couple pieces of live rock from them and now I'm really noticing flat worms on the tank glass as well. How can I get rid of them? I guess to elaborate on the thread a little lol

There are some species of wrasse that will go after that type of flatworm.

tried it last night and stuff looked ok this morning! the only con is trying to coral out without crushing it with tweezers. Was afraid to put my hand in there.
how do you guys think this will work on full rock dips? guessing not well since there are so many nooks and crannies?

The problem with full rock dips is there is so many little beneficial micro organisms in the rock that will die off during the dip. You lose some of your biological filtration, and all the dead critters that don't fall out of the rock will eventually decay. Small rocks shouldn't be an issue, but dipping multiple large rocks in your system could potentially do some harm.
Depending on the type of pest you have some times the only effective method will be pulling and dipping all the corals. Quarantine, and multiple dips. Acro eating flat worms for instance. You're going to want to pull everything, and dip and quarantine to give best chance at actual eradication of the little bastards.
