I just noticed our website just turned 10 years old

    I happened to look at my profile & it said joined Mar 7, 2007. I remember it was within a few days after it went live and marked our slow exodus from Reef Central.

    So happy anniversary website, and thanks to JB & Bud for keeping it going and upgrading it over the last 10 years.

    It's a great website! I don't post much, but I visit several times a day. It's a special place--thanks to all who contribute in any way.

    JB joined on Feb 28th, so that was probably the first day I would assume. Can't believe it's been 10 years already.

    Greater Iowa Reef Society account and JB's account were registered on 2/27/07 along with several other accounts in the following month, but what's weird is that there are no posts until October 26th...I think what happened was that the original forum was set up on a different software, and then it was converted to DNN and all the old posts were lost but the user accounts were ported over along with the join dates, there were about 40 accounts as of April 1 2007. But here is the first (public) thread:

    The RC sub-forum has posts that go back to as far back as 2005 though, so it's hard to say when you would pin down a "birthday"
