I love Anemones!

    Here's a few of Anemones! My favorite is the Red Capet Haddoni, Rose Bubble Tip Anemones, BTA amd Maxi mini's. All of these reside in my DT (125G AGA RR Tank)
    I had more at one time, but started to loose many of my rare corals from being stung.

    The Sunburst BTA has great extension, how high would you rate your flow from 1-10? The Haddoni is sweet too. I have an RBTA that has stung the crap out of my Monti that is next to it, how do you get away with it? The nem has actually attached to the bottom of the monti, and the tentacles lay all over it. They have killed about an inch of the outer ring.

    I love Nems too! Yours are awesome Johnny! My tri-color just split about 3 weeks ago and my RBTA is growing fast! What do you run for flow in the 125? My tank is a 135. What do have for lighting? What do you feed? Where did you get the Sunburst?! Gorgeous there Johnny!!

    I woluld like to see that tri-color I bet it's stunning! For flow I have 2 MP40w ES, lighting 3x 150w LED blue and whites. I feed my fish Frozen mysis only. I rarely feed my anemones. But if I do I feed silversides, maybe a small piece stick it in the mouth of these anemones. The sunburst i obtained from someone in this hobby who had a anemone tank only, with the rarest RBTA & BTA's. I did some computer work for at the University and he gave me a few different color anemones. It was not easy, to put your hand in the tank with this enormous Maroon clown who bites...LOL

    Yes, the 2 tri-color nems are stunning ;-0) I recently added a MP60wES to my DT along with the 2 MP40wES I bought from you. I feed my nems silversides almost daily...I cut a silveside into 3 pieces so they each get a small piece. I put the silverside on their tentacles and they do the rest. I'm sure that you don't put the silverside "in" the nems' mouths, do you?! That can injure them to where they won't recover. I got rid of my Maroon clown as he was too big and aggressive with the BTA's...I don't miss him drawing blood from my hand either!! lol My Clarkie has taken his place...bites too!! ;=0) I'd love to trade one of my tri-colors for a sunburst! How often do your nems split?

    Thanks for the advice on feeding them, I will try that today. It just in the past anytime I put a silverside near my anemones, the clowns and other big fish see dinner.
    How big is your tank? that you have 2 MP40 & MP60? Yes I've owned the gold strip Maroon, they are nasty! Those blood sucking fish "vamps"...LOL After this thread, I've decided to build a anemones tank only! In the hopes to have the rarest colorful anemones out there, maybe try to experiment and cross breed them. When I start that I will open a new thread on it.
