I'm new to sw tanks. I was able to get a 24 gal Cardiff tank with a bunch of extras. I have a friend that really got me interested in this and introduced me to this web site. I'm almost ready to start up, all I have left to get is salt and live rock. I'm sure I'll be on a few times asking random questions.

Welcome! Those Cardiff tanks are sweet looking. It's a shame that Current quit making them. This site is an awesome resource, ask as many as you can. F.D. Reefer is a member in Fort Dodge that should have a good amount of things you're looking for. He's good stuff! I'm from Sac City originally, so I'm definitely familiar with RC. Once again, welcome! /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

Just hooked up the light and had to try it out. Still waiting for my tank to cycle. Nitrates and Nitrates are topped out again, good thing I head out for vacation this week.

The setup I purchased also came with a reefkeeper lite 2 pc4's and a ph checker. I have been trying to set it up to how I'm going to use it aka not using the auto top off. I am having no luck when I follow the instructions and connect each piece to myreef 2.0 and choose to program it simply says programing complete. I am near the end of cycling my tank but before I put any alive thing in it I want to make sure it's running correctly. Does anyone know where I can find a better guide to set this up? The one they provide has not worked well so far
