Just found this website, I am loving everything already!
Let's see, how I ended up here...
I have been a freshwater fish enthusiast for a while now, and after noticing a marine setup for sale on Craigslist I jumped right in.  Two weeks ago I knew nothing about saltwater, today I know maybe a little bit more.
I currently have a pregnant wife, pregnant dog, and of course pregnant freshwater fish, so what else did I need to do?  Well, I purchased and established, and neglected, 55 gallon tank, with a few coral and a few fish.  I have successfully made it through two water changes and have found nothing dead yet!  Although, the tank is a mess from the transportation and urgency I had with keeping the fish alive, everything seems to be thriving.  I am in the process of thinning out my freshwater setups to have room for a larger tank to start over fresh and learn the ropes the right way.
I am learning so much each day, I can't wait for my next adventure.  Thank you to everyone on here that maintains a friendly and inviting environment for all of us "newbs" to flock to.

Welcome to the club, and good luck in your new adventure. The best advice is take it slow and research everything.

Definitely taking it slow this time! There is so much to learn, I want to start fresh and nitpick every little detail.  I am so excited even though I know I am saying goodbye to my money/DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/tongue.gif

Welcome! And indeed say goodbye to your money lol. Do alot of reading on the site and ask any questions you might have. It dont take long to get the swing of things, especially if you've been in freshwater for so long. Hope you got an RO/DI machine as saltwater is alittle more picky on the water than throwing alittle conditioner in tap water for freshwater fish haha.

Welcome to the dark side. If only your wife knew how much this was going to cost her. There is too much cool stuff you can't help but go broke in this hobby.
