Well, i was accepted into a training course that begins in January. I will be in West Des Moines for a solid week every month. So i am looking for suggestions on which LFS's to check out while in the area!

Your only choices are Seascapes and Adam's, at least to my knowledge anyway. Both are pretty good, although Adam's is a bit pricey IMO.

Hey Curtis, havent seen you around in a while! Truth is, not much in the way of shops up there, Omaha really beats DSM, but... get to know the folks that way b/c nobody in Omaha has tanks like the GIRS club and the frags are very affordable! I wanna move back to DSM so bad!

Actually Seascapes has improved dramatically over the last year. They have a nice big coral tanks setup and the fish tanks are in much better shape. Then when they get the new 1600 gallon tank going (after the explosion is cleaned up) it is going to be killer!
