Ice Cap gyre powerheads?

    Anyone heard a review of these yet? They look a lot like the Maxspect model but are much lower in price. Bulk Reef Supply is now carrying them. I'm tempted.

    I wondered how they could use the gyre name. Ice Cap is a good name, but when something is markedly lower in price, there's usually a reason, and I worry that it would be quality of construction.

    Maxspect owns IceCap. Odds are they used cheaper parts to try and compete with jebaos cross flow that they ripped off. Either way if you buy one it will be backed by Maxspects warranty.
