Ice storm is coming

My son's girlfriend is full of hot air, so hoping she will able to last threw the outage with a straw. Combo heat and air. Lol

 

With all seriousness we are looking at a Honda generator. For now we have a battery operated air pump.

 

menards has the big generators on sale I just picked up 3 lol can never be to prepared

 

I have a couple of the battery operated air pumps and a portable generator just in case.

Ice storms worry me.

I don't have a generator, but we talk about getting one. Just never have.

I'm going today to buy a battery powered air pump. Have a marine battery and a power inverter too.

 

I have the batteries from my boat and camper all ganged together and hooked to a 1000 watt inverter to get me by short term and the generator is all gassed up in the shed if we have a long outage.

We did.

 

So far so good ! not gonna claim victory until we get through tonight .

All those water puddles in the yard deceived me. I took the dog out a little bit ago, and I went down hard on my limestone walk out front. So there I was with a soggy bum and sheepishly looking around to see who saw.
