I'm trying to figure out if my tang has ich. I noticed some whiteish spots under blues only, and they do not look like a physical bump, just skin discoloration. Anything I have read or seen online ich looks like a bump and is visible under white. Should I be worried?

It could be stress how long has the Tang been in the tank. How big is the tank. Do you have a qt tank. You should always qt your fish will save you money in the long run and it sucks catching fish after they have ich in a big tank. Tangs are ich magnets to. If it's ich in your display tank you are wanting to go fish less for at least 72 days.
See if you can get a pic of the tang and it will be easier to tell for other people to help with advice.

I've had him for a couple months, but him and the rest of the fish have been together for longer. Tank is a 6 foot 120 gal. From my observation everyone gets along just fine. And I haven't changed my routine at all.
