Let's say my experience with it is bad. I started using it 3 and a half weeks ago things looked good for a while but couldn't get rid of the ick and lost a powder blue. Then I put up quarantine tank yes I said a quarantine tank and now treating with copper. I went threw 9 bottles of ick attack and 15 dollars a bottle is kinda expensive for what for some hair algae. Yes I was one of those guys get a new fish gotta get in the display tank not anymore let's I've learned my lesson. QT is a must and cheaper in the long run and time saving spent my Saturday catching fish in my 220 gallon tank. So I just want to say to the people that use ick attack if it works for you well good for you but a 10 gallon tank is cheaper than a dead powder blue, bangi cardinal and a 100 gallon sock tank from theisons to put the fish in plus 9 bottles of ick attack. Let's say when you get your dream tank don't let the ick in unless you like looking at a fish less tank for the next 8 weeks.

I call it snake oil. I suspect it is nothing more then vitamins & garlic that temporarily boosts the fishes immune system.

Sorry for your losses Adam:9( It is unfortunate that people don't follow good practicesl as it is always at the expense of fish, inverts, etc :0( Hope you don't lose anything else! Good luck

I've been pampering a powder brown that comes down w/ it repeatedly. Treating him in a 20g copper and setting up a 55g to put all current fish in DT to. Going to do hypo salinity in 55. Hope after 6 weeks I can put all back in dt. Then relax and not worry about the Lil ich magnet. Such is life, always the beautiful stuff that demands so much maintenance.

You missed a great Q&A session by xroads on fish disease. He probably still has the packet from the previous presentation last spring.

It's funny, because I was just hearing very good reviews on it from another hobbyist just a few weeks ago. Just goes to show you some things work for some and not for others, thanks for sharing your story.
