Id help plz

    So I just posted in the New to the forum area and now I am here to get help on ID on 2 pics of things going on in my tank. Any help would be helpful

    I know the first pic it looks like polyps but what kind or am I wrong?

    you are right but it is difficult to tell what kind.

    second looks like a sponge to me.

    First one are zoanthoids (good) -a type of soft coral.

    Second one is hard to make out what you are referring to but if it's the white stuff then it looks like sponge. It will enrcust around the rocks. some fish seem to eat it. It's also good to have.

    You are correct on the first picture... They look like run of the mill "no name" polyps.
    The second link did not work for me.

    Yeah I am talking about the white stuff. I was thinking it was a sponge also but wasnt sure

    Like I said I am new and wasnt expecting things to "grow" like them yet lol. I am amsuming they are hitchickers then as some say but from the sounds of it good ones /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif

    If that 2nd one ends up being a sponge make sure it always stays wet
