In need of a check valve

    Does anyone have an inline three quarter inch check valve laying around I'm in need of one desperately... Let me know what you have. thanks

    I had to get mine from BulkReefSupply. Their orders usually come next day for stuff that is in stock. (And ship UPS)

    the ones I seen at menards had metal springs in em.
    I would go with BRS then u no it will b reef safe.

    I've got a 3/4" George Fisher Wye Check valve from BRS. Never been used.

    If that spring is stainless, it wont rust anyhow.. Afterall Checkvalves are made for water..

    stainless will corrode in saltwater.
    I'd just use one that's ment for a reef & b done with it
    Got mine at marine depot. there's a rubber flapper that stops the back flowing water.
    been going strong for 7 years.

    I would recommend looking at flexpvc.com at the ball check valves, nothing metallic, no flapped to get blocked, and that natural slime coat makes the valve work better. Only runs about $5
