In Need of an Emergency ATO

    My Tunze osmolator is on the fritz. Tunze has instructed me to mail it in to them. I need something in the meantime. I dose the tank with kalk by means of ATO, so this can become a problem. I'd be willing to pay for something, "rent" something, or borrow something. Whatever someone fairly local has.
    Or... just give me ideas as to what to do. I really don't want my calc and alk to go out of whack as I know it can become a PITA to get it back on track, not to mention livestock stress. Everything on the tank is going as I want it and now of course this happens. I can add one thing to be thankful for this thanksgiving; the fact that this is relatively minor compared to what CAN go wrong.

    I got one you could use...but being in CR, not sure that's going to help you much.

    Dripping isn't an option unless I hang the thing from a ceiling. No sump.

    Put a piece of wood on the top of your tank and make a shelf for it ...its only temporary.

    Or

    Dose some 2 part and fresh water

    Been doing that. It's just a pain since I have no pumps hehe.
