I had 1 do the exact same thing. I also had one jump out before I had a cover. I gave up trying until I have a tight fitting screen.

This was my second. I got the egg crate after the first. Don't see how he got out. The egg crate wasn't even disturbed.

All the long narrow-shaped fish seem to be jumpers :/ I avoid them mainly for that reason......crazy fish!

I had the same issues.Go to Menards. Get the build your own screen frame and order some small screen from BRS. I haven't had a problem in either tank since.

    Yeah, that's a good idea.

Now I just have to figure out if my six-line killed my new flasher wrasse or if he just found a better hideout. I didn't see him yesterday.

Totally forgot I had the six-line in there until he started harrassing the flasher.

Sorry for the jumper. Chances are ur 6 line killed the other... the one i had i got dirt cheap because every other wrasse that came into the tank itd go after. They are best suited to be the only one in a tank.

I have another wrasse in the tank and the six-line rarely even acknowledged it. He's usually neither seen nor heard. And now he decides to get bitchy. Grr.

Bird netting from hardware stores will work as well.

Jason - that diamond goby was huge. I'm not even convinced that he would fit through egg crate if you pushed him. Are you sure there isn't/wasn't a gap somewhere?
