I have a small colony of zenias that attached to one of my hermits.. I guess it's been like this for a while since I thought I lost the hermit weeks ago. Anyway, I put a few shells next to it so he would move out of the current shell but one of the shells also ended up getting attached and he hasn't moved to the bigger shell. What do I do?
I have a few pictures but I can't figure out how to upload them using my Samsung Galaxy

  3. I don't mean my post to sound unconcerned. The opposite actually. That is a very cool thing you've got. However, what is the urgency? The blue leg will move out when he feels like it. I've seen people purposely cover shells with GSP just for the effect.

Is there a concern he can't get out? If things get too heavy which is likely what will happen he will just find a new home.

Again, not questioning. It's a very cool picture.

+1 with coralreefer2110. The actual weight of the zenias in water is so small that the crab probably doesn't even recognize it. The crab will move out of the shell when it has outgrown it.
